After a very active summer, we say goodbye by closing the doors of the hotel until next year.
2017 has brought us many enchanting visits and a lot of events that leaves us wanting to start the next season soon, but after some needed holidays, of course.
The events of the year
Have you been to any dreamy event this year? We have! This season, more than a dozen of couples have tied the knot in Binissaida. It has been a summer full of happiness, dances, private reunions and romantic dinners under the stars.
With the help of Anna Mir, our hotel has been dressed with many decorations to turn each event into a unique and special day.

The people who have visited us this year have had the great pleasure of experimenting the new menu La Finca, which offers an exceptional and Minorcan gastronomy.

Traditional propositions such as “from Sant Esteve Cove”, made with browned squid with spring onion and stir-fry, or classics such as “from the Henhouse”, a Menorcan open omelette, have been the star dishes from this season. In her case, the director of Binissaida, Roberta, recommends the dish “from the Barn” a delicious and tender suckling lamb, raised in our Finca, accompanied by a light potato cream. Umm… can one ask for more?
Breaking records
Speaking of food, our garden has been busy this summer; it has produced 1400 kilos of koroneiki olives in more than 500 varieties that Ses Forquilles have used to generate coupage oil for the restaurant. Did you get the chance to try it?
A horse riding experience
To finish this season, we organised an excursion riding horses with the Binissaida team to explore some parts of the island, and we ended the day with a big lunch. It was a fun and original way to close this chapter and to say goodbye until next year.
And for the next season…
We are already planning some new events to keep us busy this summer, you know, so we don’t lose our ways.
We can’t tell you much about our plans, but we're doing some changes in the Finca to improve the stay of our hosts. You’ll have to wait until next year to see the changes, because, you'll visit us, right?
We follow the example of the newlyweds Gianni and Emma, and we say goodbye with a toast to celebrate such a lovely year.
